I'm running out of creative names. Sorry.
This juice had:
1/2 bunch of kale
1/2 cucumber
3 sticks of celery
1 grapefruit
1/2 Granny Smith apple
1/2 lime
And this made me a big 20oz serving for lunch.
I'm not sure if my youngest son (19 months old) is a freak or what, but he would much rather drink my juice than his vanilla almond milk!
Does anyone else out there have young children who like the really strong green juices?
Congrats on your great weight loss. I'm on day 9 of my juice feast and this is my second attempt. The last one lasted 15 days and I lost 15 pounds. This time I'm reaching for 30 days. Amazingly this time round has been a breeze for me, no headaches or withdrawals from coffee/sugar etc, even though I went back to my old ways, it's also been close to a year since I did the last fast.
ReplyDeleteAll 4 of my kids turn their noses up at my green juices, they are aged 8 through 17 so I think in the picky age where anything good for them or green is bad. I actually love the taste of my green juices.
Good luck with your juice fast and happy juicing :)
Samantha
Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteAnd 15 lbs in 15 days?? That's phenomenal! Awesome job! I was thinking about doing another shorter juice fast in May. We'll see though. And hopefully it's easier the second time around like you!
I think I've only got another year of the "Oh! Mom wants to drink it, so so do I!!!" attitude. My oldest guys turn 6 in June. Now, it'll be interesting when the youngest (almost 20 months) gets older. Will he want to be like mom and dad? Or like his older twin brothers? Or both!? Haha
I bet your days are never dull! :) even though I don't consider us to be a large family, most people do and make the remarks like, "I don't know how you do it." I always want to reply, "I don't know how you do it either!!" Lol I really like being on the go.
